Philanthropy has always been a part of the Mikolays’ life together. From an early age, and through the creation and expansion of their popular Desires by Mikolay flagship store and signature designer jewelry line, Scott and Tara Mikolay have dedicated themselves and their business to the improvement of their community – and beyond.

Known for their charity fêtes, the Mikolays have held multiple yearly benefits for organizations devoted to environmental conservation, domestic violence prevention, family support programs, hunger aid, and wildlife protection. In particular, the Mikolays have repeatedly received official recognition and honors for their extraordinary commitment and support of the work done by the Pace Women’s Justice Center.

"Our impact must be greater than our entrepreneurship," Tara says of their plans. Scott adds, "Each step for Desires by Mikolay is also an opportunity to give back to our world, raise awareness about critical issues, and alleviate suffering. Together with our wonderful community of friends and supporters, we hope to continue doing just that."
